A high pitch concentrates runoff at the eave. Undersized gutters overflow behind the fascia and soak the soffit. Capacity is a size and outlet question, not only a color match.

Hidden hangers spaced too far apart pull free when ice and water load the gutter. Extra downspouts shorten the run of water in the trough. Both belong on the scope when the roof is steep.
What the written gutter line should include
Name trough size, hanger spacing, and downspout count. A Westfield or Summit “gutters included” note without capacity is not enough for a steep eave.
