Plywood on beds, tarps on shrubs, magnet sweeps for nails, and a dumpster location that does not block a short driveway should be written down. “We’ll be careful” is not a line item you can compare.

There is often no side yard for a conveyor. Material may come over the front. That is slower and it belongs in the schedule the contractor gives you, especially if the street is narrow.
